Oolong is a Chinese tea that can be enjoyed hot, and cold. The taste varies a lot, as there are many types of Oolong tea, depending on how the leaves have been prepared.

What are the benefits of Oolong tea?

Oolong tea has similar benefits as some other types of tea. For example, it can help you keep your body healthy by regulating the fat intake.

How to brew Oolong tea

  1. Add 1.5 tsp per cup of the Oolong Tea Mix to a cup or teapot.

  2. Add hot water at 85°C.

  3. Add a sweetener of your choice (optional).

  4. Steep for 3 minutes.

  5. Enjoy!

How to make Oolong tea cold brew

Cold brew Oolong tea is the best when you feel like sipping tea but the weather is too hot for it. This recipe is delicious and keeps all the nutrients.

The healthiest way to prepare it is to steep the tea without a sieve or a tea bag. In that way, the nutrients are going to be released better. However, cold brew Oolong tea is going to be tasty anyway even if you use a sieve or a tea bag!


  1. Place 1 tea bag or 1.5 tsp of Oolong Tea Mix per cup at the bottom of a large container or glass pitcher.

  2. Pour into the container/pitcher room temperature water or cold water.

  3. Cover the container/pitcher and refrigerate.

  4. Steep for 8-12 hours.

  5. Remove the tea bags or the tea leaves and discard (tea is compostable!).

  6. Serve over ice with fresh lemon slices and sweetener of your choice.
