Black Tea

Black tea is a type of tea that is more oxidised than oolong, white and green teas and is generally stronger in flavour than other teas. All types are made from leaves of the shrub  Camellia sinensis. Some of the health benefits are:

Reduces blood sugar levels

Elevated blood sugar levels can increase the risk of health problems, such as diabetes 2, obesity, cardiovascular disease, kidney failure and depression

White Tea

White tea may refer to one of several styles of tea which generally feature young or minimally processed leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. Some of the health benefits are:

Low-caffeine

White tea is low in caffeine. To be precise, it contains the smallest concentration of caffeine of all teas and coffees. A cup of coffee is contains around 80-120 milligrams of caffeine, while a cup of white tea only contains 5-10mg of caffeine.

This tea also contains a lot of fluoride. Fluoride keeps our bones and teeth strong and healthy. It will therefore have a beneficial effect on the prevention of tooth decay and cavities.

This tea is also known for its purifying effect, caused by the antioxidants. This reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. Oolong is a traditional semi-oxidised Chinese tea (Camellia sinensis) produced through a process including withering the plant under strong sun and oxidation before curling and twisting. Some of the health benefits are:
